MONITOR LYCEUM

We need one parent per day for 35 minutes (11am-11:35am) to monitor Lyceum outside activities on the Cicero field! This gives our students the opportunity to play various ball games and to get some exercise. Perhaps you can monitor Lyceum after you volunteer to serve lunch! Click Here to sign up.

HAVE YOU TAKEN THE TAX CREDIT FOR CICERO YET?

DO IT BY DEC 15 & ENTER TO WIN A $300 AMAZON GIFT CARD WITH PLENTY OF TIME FOR HOLIDAY SHIPPING!

EVERYONE who contributes to the Tax Credit Drive by December 15th will be entered into a drawing for a $300 AMAZON gift card.

EVERYONE who contributes to the Tax Credit and brings in any any additional tax credits from a friend or family member, will be entered into a drawing for a $250 gift card to Dennis Uniform. This means more than one Tax Credit is contributed on your student's behalf.

The Archway family who brings in the most Tax Credits will receive a $50 FOX Restaurants gift card.

The Prep family who brings in the most Tax Credits will receive a family 4 pack to Octane Raceway with a $20 credit towards games or food.

The Prep athlete who brings in the most Tax Credits will receive 1 free sports fee during the 2016-17 school year.

Thank you to the PSO Board Members and Dads' Club Members who made it out on Nov 25th to help with Drop-Off! Our teachers were so surprised and appreciative of the support. We were able to give them the gift of more time in the classroom. We look forward to supporting our teachers at drop-off multiple times throughout the year just as other Great Hearts schools do. We can never give enough to all of our amazing teachers!

The next date for drop-off support will be December 16th from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. It's the same day as the Teacher Appreciation Winter Luncheon and Snowstorm! JAMBA JUICE ON CAMPUS

Jamba Juice will be at Cicero on Friday, Dec. 11th from 2:30pm-4pm after school. So come by, pick up your Cicero Scrip Order (if you ordered one) and/or enjoy an after school treat and snack! Cicero will be making 20% of all proceeds from this event. Location will be in a future newsletter.

COFFEE WITH THE HEADMASTER

Dr. Discher is looking forward to spending time with the parents of each homeroom section of Cicero Prep this year. In order to do this, he will host a series of "Coffee With the Headmaster," one for each section of Cicero Prep.

These coffee times will be held on Friday mornings at 7:50am throughout the year. During this hour together, he'd like to share a bit about the vision for the school and then hear from you and get to know you. His hope is that we will be here on campus together for years to come, so it is important that we continue to cultivate the partnership and friendship we have together.

The schedule for these meetings is below, and he will be calling all of you personally to invite you to your section's coffee. The coffees will be held in the Prep Faculty Lounge, adjacent to his office in the Admin Building.

Dr. Discher looks forward to building relationships with you and finding ways to partner together to give your students the best possible education.
