No matter where you are, vacationing or at home or in your workplace, please take time out and get in the habit of saying a prayer. To help you out, I will offer to you morsels of powerful prayer from St. Gregory of Nareg. Take these lines to heart and build on it.
Ձեր առօրեային մէջ ուր որ էք, արձակուրդի մէջ եւ կամ ձեր բնակարանին, եւ կամ թէ ձեր գործատեղին, սովորութիւն ըրէք պահ մը կանգ առնել եւ աղօթք մը մրթմրթալ։ Ձեզի օգնելու համար, ձեզի կը հրամցնեմ Նարեկի աղօթագիրքէն պատառիկներ։ Ըմբոշխնեցէք եւ աւելցուցէք անոր վրայ։
"Accept the gift of my prayers and grant the mercy of your grace.
Accept this meager offering from a weakling like me, and grant greatly from your heavenly might. Fortify my words of repentance, having sent the Holy Ghost, endowed with the message of the breath of God. " (2 B.)

Third Sunday after Transfiguration
I Tim. 4:12-5:10
Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for other believers in your speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity. 13Until I arrive, concentrate on the public reading of Scripture, on exhorting, and on teaching. 14Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy, accompanied by the laying on of the elders' hands. 15Think on these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress. 16Pay close attention to your life and your teaching. Persevere in these things, for if you do this, you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.
1 Tim. 5
Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him as if he were your father. Treat younger men like brothers, 2older women like mothers, and younger women like sisters, with absolutely purity.
3Honor widows who are really widows. 4But if a widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to respect their own family by repaying their parents, for this is pleasing in God's sight. 5A woman who is really a widow and is left all alone has placed her hope in God and devotes herself to petitions and prayers night and day. 6But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead while she lives.
7Continue to give these instructions so that they may be blameless. 8If anyone does not take care of his own relatives, especially his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 9A widow may be put on the widows' list if she is at least sixty years old and has been the wife of one husband. 10She must be well known for her good works as a woman who has raised children, welcomed strangers, washed the saints' feet, helped the suffering, and devoted herself to doing good in every way.
Gospel of St. John 3:13-21
"No one has gone up to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man who is in heaven. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his unique Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God's unique Son. And this is the basis for judgment: The light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light because their actions were evil. For everyone who practices wickedness hates the light and does not come to the
light, so that his actions may not be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that all may see� that his actions have been done in God."

�Ոչ ոք երկինք ելաւ բացի մարդու Որդիէն, որ իջաւ երկինքէն, ուր կը գտնուէր։ Եւ ինչպէս որ Մովսէս պղնձեայ օձը բարձրացուց անապատին մէջ, նոյնպէս ալ պէտք է մարդու Որդին բարձրանայ, որպէսզի անոր հաւատացողը յաւիտենական կեանք ունենայ։ Որովհետեւ Աստուած ա՛յնքան սիրեց աշխարհը, որ մինչեւ իսկ իր միածին Որդին տուաւ, որպէսզի անոր հաւատացողը չմեռնի, այլ յաւիտենական կեանք ունենայ։ Որովհետեւ Աստուած իր Որդին աշխարհ ղրկեց, ո՛չ թէ որպէսզի Որդին աշխարհը դատապարտէ, այլ որպէսզի աշխարհը փրկէ։ Ով որ կը հաւատայ անոր՝ չի դատապարտուիր. իսկ ով որ չի հաւատար անոր, արդէն իսկ դատապարտուած է, Աստուծոյ միածին Որդիին չհաւատալուն համար։
�Եւ դատապարտութիւնը այս է. հակառակ անոր որ լոյսը աշխարհ եկաւ, մարդիկ խաւարը լոյսէն աւելի սիրեցին, որովհետեւ չարութիւն կը գործէին։ Ով որ չար գործ կը կատարէ, կ՚ատէ լոյսը եւ լոյսին չի գար, որպէսզի իր գործերը չյայտնուին։ Սակայն ով որ կը կատարէ ինչ որ ճշմարիտ է, լոյսին կու գայ, որպէսզի յայտնի ըլլայ թէ իր գործերը Աստուծոյ կամքին համաձայն գործուած են�։
