We are happy to announce that, at the occasion of the 30th anniversary
of the St. Gregory of Datev Institute, His Grace Anoushavan Tanielian, the Dean of the Institute will celebrate the Badarak and deliver the sermon.
After Badarak, in the Founders Hall, ARS Artemis chapter will host the
30th anniversary luncheon and donate all proceeds to Datev Institute.
We invite our parishioners, the alumni and friends to attend the Badarak
and participate to the luncheon.

SUNDAY BIBLE READING
First Sunday after Transfiguration
The reading is from the First Epistle of St. Paul to Corinthians 1:25-30
I will turn my hand against you; I will smelt away your dross as with lye and remove all your alloy.
And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
Zion shall be redeemed by justice, and those in her who repent, by righteousness.
But rebels and sinners shall be destroyed together, and those who forsake the LORD shall be consumed. For you shall be ashamed of the oaks in which you delighted; and you shall blush for the gardens that you have chosen.
For you shall be like an oak whose leaf withers, and like a garden without water.
The strong shall become like tinder and their work like a spark; they and their work shall burn together, with no one to quench them.
The reading is from the Gospel of St. Matthew 18:10-14
"Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones; for, I tell you, in heaven their angels continually see the face of my Father in heaven.
What do you think? If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?
And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.
So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

�Զգոյշ, մի՛ արհամարհէք այս փոքրիկներէն ոեւէ մէկը. գիտցէք որ անոնց հրաշտակները երկինքի մէջ միշտ կը տեսնեն իմ երկնաւոր Հայրս։ Որովհետեւ Մարդու Որդին եկաւ կորսուածը փրկելու համար։
�Ի՞նչ կը կարծէք. եթէ մարդ մը իր հարիւր ոչխարներէն մէկը կորսնցնէ, չի՞ ձգեր իննսունինը ոչխարները լերան վրայ եւ չ՚ե՞րթար փնտռելու կորսուած ոչխարը։ Այո՛, կ՚երթայ։ Եւ եթէ պատահի որ գտնէ, վստահ եղէք որ աւելի կ՚ուրախանայ այդ ոչխարին համար, քան թէ իննսունինը ոչխարներուն համար որոնք կորսուած էին։ Նմանապէս ալ Հայրս, որ երկինքի մէջ է, չ՚ուզեր որ այս փոքրիկներէն մէկը կորսուի�։
