CancerCare Turns 70!

This year marks CancerCare's 70th year of providing free, professional support services including counseling, support groups, financial assistance and educational workshops and publications for anyone affected by cancer.

As part of our 70th anniversary campaign, we've launched a photo contest celebrating survivorship across the nation, #SurvivorSelfiesWe encourage people living with cancer, survivors, caregivers and health care professionals to share their "selfies" with us. Upload any photo that portrays the cancer experience through your unique point of view on our contest page. Encourage your friends and family to vote. Prizes will be given for the top photos!

In Their Words

Linda, with her mother

"Initially, I was very frightened. As time went on though, I realized how blessed I am and how truly wonderful life can be when you decide to live it to the fullest. A cancer diagnosis will help you put things into perspective.

CancerCare provided help for transportation costs to and from radiation therapy. They also provided plenty of good

information. I participated in some of the online groups they offer. Everything was really so helpful."

- Linda G., breast cancer survivor
