The Hedgecock crew had a great day fishing for sheepshead!
Three KINGS! Luke Matthews, Chase-N-Fish, and Alyssa Harmeier played around and snagged 3 decent size kingfish.
We have fiddler crabs!
Clayton Roerig from Jacksonville, FL, landed many large sheepshead like this one fishing with live Sea Hag Marina shrimp.

Chaeli Norwood had a little trouble fishing from a kayak on her Spring Break. She said the water was really cold and the auto inflate on her life preserver works VERY well.

Birthday boy, Nick Oelrich of Newberry, FL, caught this BIG red grouper while offshore fishing out of Steinhatchee!
Caleb Holt, Colton Kykendahl, Nick Oelrich, Tanner Fowler and Curtis Clevenger from Newberry, FL, brought in this haul of nice fish this week! What a birthday party!
Lee Hurst from Cooks Hammock, FL, caught this massive redfish using a gold Johnson Spoon lure!
Andy Baker and Jack Rector from Hickory NC, Don Levron from Albany, GA, and Bob Klinger from Hickory, NC, caught this mess of sheepshead and amberjacks on Sea Hag shrimp and fiddlers!
Luke Matthews from Gainesville, FL, reeled in this kingfish with ease!
Gene Frazier from Steinhatchee, FL, took Robert Edwards from Cummings, GA, and Sheila Wheeler from Marietta, GA, and brought in their limit of sheepshead.
Becky Robinson and Nick Anderson had a good day catching sheepshead captained by Derek Snyder while fishing with Sea Hag shrimp and fiddler crabs.
Maddie Carte caught this nice sheepshead while fishing out of Sea Hag Steinhatchee, but that wasn't the only one she caught! (see below)
The day after fishing, Gaga from Tampa, FL, said, "I'm a little sore in the shoulders this morning." It is obvious why! She caught this great big red grouper aboard the "Submarina".
LJ Leighton, Patty, Rick and Wyatt Benner of Orange Springs, FL, caught these Florida snapper and an impressive kingfish this week.
Keith Kelly caught a 55lb Kingfish on Tuesday April 7th.
Tom Newbern of Valdosta, GA, captained a vessel with Brandon, Norman and Dale this week and really got on the sheepshead!
The Hedgecock crew had a blast landing kingfish this last weekend.
Gene Frazier from Steinhatchee, FL, took Ginger Frazier, Trey Giles, Julia Clare Hubbard, Brinson Hubbard, Genie Giles, Will Hubbard, Thomas McBride, Tinsley Rae McBride and Jaye McBride from Columbus and Americus, GA, aboard the "Neva-Miss" to catch a slew of sheepshead!
If you fish in the Gulf and plan to harvest, possess or land any of the following reef fish: red and vermilion snapper; gag, black and red grouper; gray triggerfish; greater and lesser amberjack; banded rudderfish; and almaco jack then you must add a new reef license to your saltwater fishing license. This includes anglers who are 65 and older.
