This Week 4-01-2015 at Sea Hag Marina
During his Spring Break, Chase, while fishing for sheepshead, landed this giant rockfish using a 7/0 Gamakatsu hook with three frozen sardines on that one hook!
APRIL FOOLS!
Don Davis, Ken Ford and Glen Davis from Warner Robins, GA, with Scott Peters of Steinhatchee, FL, used Gulp lures to catch all these BIG redfish!
Gary Roberts of Alpharetta, GA, with his grandchildren, Nicholas and Brianna Del Negro of Canton, GA, and Bobby Burgess of St. Simons Island, GA, caught their limit of trout on Sea Hag shrimp during a recent fishing trip.
Kyle Loree, Luna Markey (the dog), Elita Markey, Jim Markey and Cameron Duford caught this huge slew of sheepshead on Monday afternoon!
We have fiddler crabs!

The LBC Group: Rick Lanford, David Montford, Gregg Fitzgibbons, Mac McCall, Daren Montford, Todd Fitzgibbons, Robbie Allen, Paul Syribeys, Harry Colbert and Davey Montford from Macon, GA, reeled in a huge haul of redfish and trout!
The kids from the Austin and Moody families had a great time fishing with family, and that's no joke!
Jackson Swisher from Lake City, FL, caught his 15 sheepshead limit and one redfish on Sea Hag Marina shrimp!
Brad Lee won first place in the Taylor County Fishing Club Tournament this weekend with his redfish and trout combo totaling 9.35 pounds!
Second place in the Taylor County Fishing Club Tournament went to Ronald Poppell and Lucas Bethea from Perry, FL, with a redfish/trout combo of 8.6 pounds.
Thomas Gilbert won third place in the TCFC Tournament with his 8.4lb trout/red duo.
Beth Kavanagh (and Paul Young, not pictured) from Gainesville, FL, caught these nice sea bass and Florida snapper on Sea Hag squid during a lovely weekend at Keaton Beach.
Chloe Green, Alyssa Clark and Claudia Green from Lake Park, GA, and Steve Bradford from Valdosta, GA, caught their limit of sheepshead on Sunday using Sea Hag shrimp and fiddler crabs!
Jake Berry and Joey Landreneau caught this nice red and trout combo, together weighing 8.15lbs, during the TCFC Tournament.
Derek Snyder of Steinhatchee, FL, caught these nice sheepshead over the weekend!
Brian Smith, Tom Balch Jr, Tom Balch Sr, Jack Limon, Matt Dahlquist, Jacob Limon and Sean Limon from Steinhatchee, FL, Gainesville, FL, and Fresno, CA, brought in some good-looking sheepshead at Sea Hag.
Kyle White and Korbin Reich from Idabel, OK, Ronnie Goodwin from Eaton, GA, and Brian Smith from Steinhatchee, FL, caught a mess of sheepshead and a single ladyfish.
Chase Norwood and his trusty dog, Shallow, took advantage of the gorgeous weather to do a little kayak fishing.
If you fish in the Gulf and plan to harvest, possess or land any of the following reef fish: red and vermilion snapper; gag, black and red grouper; gray triggerfish; greater and lesser amberjack; banded rudderfish; and almaco jack then you must add a new reef license to your saltwater fishing license. This includes anglers who are 65 and older.
