This Week 3-18-2015 at Sea Hag Marina
Michael Akes and Joey Forester of Live Oak, FL, caught and weighed-in this spotted trout in the Steinhatchee Community Fishing Tournament. He landed this fish using a soft plastic lure.
Rick Davidson from Gainesville, FL, enjoyed a calm day on the water on March 15th.
Mr. Johnson from Newberry, FL, was goofing off with these two big redfish he caught during the tournament this weekend!
We've got fiddler crabs!
Brian Smith and crew went after the sheepshead but ended up having a fantastic day chasing amberjacks!

Lucas Ross and Hunter Ross from Perry, FL, fished with Berkley lures and caught this gator trout.
Luke Matthews from Gainesville, FL, and Chase Norwood from Steinhatchee, FL, weighed in these trout and sheepshead, but were bumped off the board in the last thirty minutes!

Amanda Moore from Maitland, FL, was visiting her folks in Steinhatchee and caught in this redfish with an unusual amount of spots in the river!
Kim Springer from Waverly Hall, GA, visited Keaton Beach on March 12th and caught a nice gator trout measuring 24 inches! She caught it on a live shrimp under a Back Bay Thunder out of Fish Creek at low tide!

Cephas Christian from Orlando, FL, caught this massive amberjack and a red grouper while fishing offshore out of Sea Hag in Steinhatchee!
Don Campbell from Steinhatchee, FL, and Robbie Brooks from White Springs, FL, caught the winning 6.2lb trout of the Steinhatchee Community Fishing Tournament! They fished the holes in the south creeks and caught this gator trout at high tide using corks and live shrimp. 
Joey Laundreneau from Steinhatchee, FL, placed second with this 5.6lb trout.
Konnor Thomas and Eli Jenson of the Jenson Fishing Team from Jacksonville, FL, caught the biggest sheepshead this weekend!
Jeff and Debbie Evans of Steinhatchee, FL, used cutbait to pull in these massive fish and landed themselves a prize-winning 6.40lb redfish!
From left to right: Konnor Thomas won 1st place sheepshead (8.45lb), Ben Corbin won 1st place flounder (2.35lb), Doug Rizer won 1st place redfish (6.40lb) and Debbie Evans won 2nd place with another 6.40lb red after weighing in shortly after Doug, Richard Water caught the red with the most spots (23 spots!), Joey Landreneau won 2nd place trout (5.60lb) and Robbie Brooks won 1st place trout (6.20lb).

Greg Hause of Alachua, FL, nabbed a gator trout and a redfish during the tournament.
James Padgett and Rick Bushatz form Moultrie, GA, and Crawfordville, GA, used lures (but which ones they won't say!) to reel in these good-looking fish!
These fish could barely fit in the bucket!
Mark Brady with Phillip and Phil Evans of Gainesville, FL, caught and weighed-in this redfish.
Jay Wall, Gary Chase, Tommy Cravey and Caleb Brown from Perry, GA shot this bunch of sheepshead while spearfishing in the cold water.
Robbie Combo entered this gator trout for our March Madness Fishing Competition. Nicely done!
