On February 5, 2013, just before 10:30 a.m., a gunman crashed a vehicle into the front of the Ford dealership in Perry,FL, exited the vehicle, and began shooting.
Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Robert Lundy was in the dealership having his car serviced and immediately responded. Gunfire was exchanged and the gunman was killed. Deputy Lundy and two civilians were shot and are recovering at local hospitals while three additional victims suffered minor injuries. Deputy Lundy saved many lives while risking his own. Here is Terry Partain, from Fort Valley, GA, holding a 27" redfish he caught just off the Steinhatchee River last Saturday after the rain let up. They caught the only one small enough to keep by bouncing cut menhaden off the bottom.
Gary Warren and Chuck Drosin from Gainesville, FL, caught their limit of good size trout and released another 20 keeper size trout in the river Monday by 9:30am.
Anna Patterson released this bull redfish while bottom fishing for sea bass in 35 feet of water Sunday.

Mike Reeves caught this nice size keeper redfish south of Pepperfish Keys last week on a Stinky Finger bone colored shrimp.
Ray Mitchell and Dan Stinchcomb from Atlanta, GA, caught these fine trout and about a 100 more keeper size on on Chartruese Pepper Neon Gulp jerk shad in the river Monday while fishing with Max Leatherwood.
