Leigh Thomas , from Hahira,GA, fishing with her husband Mack Thomas brought in this fine trout last Saturday north of the river.
Tommy Ballard, from St Simons Island, GA with a gator trout from Monday's trip. Tommy had a great month of fishing. He fished 23 days with friends and they limited out on really nice trout 21 days.

Rick Julius holding the winning fish in the Shands Fishing For Kids Trout Tournament. Rick was fishing with his wife M'Alice when they caught this whopper weighing in at 6.94 lbs. This gator took first place in large trout and added to their total weight of 13+ lbs to take first place in the tournament. Lots of anglers were reporting catching their biggest fish in 2 feet of water using top water baits like the Super Spook Jr, #X9236SM and the Skitter Walk SSW 11.
Russ Ryan, from Sorrento, FL with his gator from a fishing trip friday with his wife Viki. They were using Pearl White Gulp! and catching really nice fish for several days last week just south of the river.
Johnny Varner from Atlanta, GA, fishing with his Dad John out of a Sea Hag rental boat, caught this nice trout Monday in the rainy day weather. Johnny and his Dad caught some really nice trout over the weekend too!.

Look at these giant Florida Snapper Jason Boan caught last Thursday while fishing on the Catchin ZZZZ with Capt. Derek Simpson.
Last Thursday Harold Livingston and Terry Brauneck, from Palatka, FL took advantage of the calm seas and headed to the grouper grounds. They found some fine red and gag grouper.
