Construction and Renovation at Hortonville High School to Begin in 2014
During the April 2013 referendum, district residents approved the addition and renovations of Hortonville High School (HHS). "All of the changes that will be made to HHS will provide students more opportunities to take classes on-site that will assist in their college and career readiness," explains HHS Principal, Mr. Todd Timm. To prepare the building for construction, a scheduled power outage will occur at HHS the weekend of Friday, January 31st to Sunday, February 2nd. Athletic events, practices, other co-curricular events at the high school have been rescheduled to allow for the outage. The expected duration will be Friday after bus departure at 3:15pm until Sunday evening. Please note that the power outage will also impact district services such as email, Skyward access, and other network capabilities. HASD administration asks that staff and students please plan accordingly that power will not be available for the entire weekend; staff should not be working in the building that weekend.
