A Successful 2nd Spotlight on Education Expo

Safety Recommendations Received and Being Reviewed by HASD Safety Committee

Hortonville Area School District (HASD) leaders ensure staff and students feel safe in our schools. Safety-related changes include limiting access to all facilities during school hours, and implementing a hall safety monitor at the high school to ensure that all doors remain locked, and closely verifying every person in the building has permission or reason to be there. Over the years, the Football Booster Club has been able to buy new goal posts for Akin Field, an end zone camera, new headset for coaching staff, provide funding for volunteer coaches, and have given monetary donations towards workout equipment for the fitness center. They also fund fan and team busses for further distance away games, and have sponsored team cookouts and dinners. Read more...
