Hortonville Area School District Recognized as a 'Best Communities for Music Education' 

  

The Hortonville Area School District is pleased to announce that   we are 1 out of 166 school districts in the United States to receive the award for 2012 "Best Communities for Music Education" from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

 

The NAMM Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports innovative community-based learning programs that allow more people the opportunity to experience the proven benefits of active music making. One activity done by NAMM is the "Best Communities for Music Education" (BCME) survey, which was established in 1999. The BCME survey is a nationwide search for communities who show commitment and support for music education by providing access to music education as an essential piece of a complete education. To register for eFunds, please go to the HASD website and visit the Skyward Family & Student Access page. Then, click on the eFunds Registration Guide link to follow the step-by-step directions.

HASD Library Media in the 21st Century 

  

Recently in the Hortonville Area School District, efforts have been made to make research, reading, and education through the library facilities both more accessible and interactive. A program to offer e-books to students and staff has been created and can be found through the District website.
