Although the Fair may be several months away, plans are already underway for the 3rd annual event. Be sure to visit the website for updates and exciting news for this year. 
 
If you are interested in becoming involved with the Fair sign up to become a volunteer and join in the fun! Whether you can contribute a few hours or several days we have a need for everyone. Over the summer there will be several meetings and events for volunteers.

Have you been to the Expo recently? If you've ever thought about having an event at the Expo please join us on April 22nd for our Open House. We will have various "mock" events set-up in our Exhibit Hall and Ballroom with assistance from local event vendors. Refreshments will be provided and you can register to win a door prize. The Expo has been very busy during the past three months and we are in the midst of an extremely busy schedule for the remainder of the spring and summer. Did You Know?  

 

July 3-13th the Expo will host the American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup. The Youth World Cup is an international event that is held every two years and is hosted by a different country each time. This year, nearly 20 nations will be represented at the two week event. This one of a kind event will bring international exposure to the Brazos County Expo and Aggieland.

 

The 2010 Youth World Cup was held in Oklahoma City and boasted a competition between 16 countries. The 2012 competition was held in Kreuth, Germany.
