Five Wounds Community Comes Together

students learn and benefit by participating in "grass-roots" projects that can make a real impact. The community residents learn about working with community leaders, governmental agencies and each other to see their goals realized.
Recently, community members of the Five Wounds neighborhood were dismayed that they were not included in a decision making process regarding plans for a mega-parking structure for the new BART extension in their neighborhood. CommUniverCity served as a trusted convener, bringing together a broad spectrum of community residents to explore a collective vision for their future.
