Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club will host the Sixth Annual Jarod M. Dean Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in support of the Northwest Fraternal Order of Police Annual Scholarship Fund.  Dean was a Boston Heights police officer who lost his life in the line of duty in 2009. He was 24 years old.

The outing is relying on support from local businesses and individuals to raise a goal of $10,000, which will be used to support the Scholarship Program started in Dean's name to help children and family members of local police officers.

The event itself will feature a four-person scramble and skins game. The registration fee for those wishing to participate is $90 per person and includes greens fees, cart, breakfast, lunch, complimentary beverages, and a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes during the tournament play and luncheon. Golfers can also participate in a $5 skins game. The tournament begins with registration at 7 a.m., with an 8 a.m. shotgun start to follow.
