Have you seen the little buds on the trees? This Sunday (20th) is the 1st Day of Spring! There's lots to do and talk about with the little ones outside in Austin. I'll be at Bright Beginnings April 9th for three story times and we'll learn "outside" and "spring" signs (see blow).

Easter is coming up soon too and if you want to take your child to an Easter service somewhere but don't have a plan yet, check out Riverbend Church on Hwy. 360. Their Easter Eggstravaganza (Mar. 26th) is over the top and free to the community. They've also added two more services to the Good Friday services in the Smith Chapel (two on Thursday - 24th and 25th). Hint (If the free tickets are sold out for Good Friday, go anyway - there are always extras). This is a very moving service that engages sight, sound and your heart. Before or after this service you can walk through Remembrance Gardens and engage in an interactive "tour" that takes you back to when it all happened. Then Easter Sunday (Mar. 27th) is very special with three services to choose from. Six-week, 45-minute play class for parent(s) and baby: A complete set of starter signs that are useful in baby's world are taught along with great parent education topics each week. Handouts, reference items, music CD, DVD and board books for baby are all included to ensure your signing success long after the class.

Sufficient tummy time is imperative for babies and too little can lead to delays in sitting up, crawling, walking and even brain development.

This six-week play class is for older toddlers who already know a sign or two and want to continue to socialize and be exposed to more signs that pertain to their emotional development (feelings, safety, etc.).

It's not necessary to have attended the 1st Sign, Say & Play class. Age and ability to sign are more important. This class is less expensive because there isn't a take-home kit included but additional reference items are available for purchase during the class.

BeeBo™ the Baby SignsŪ Bear joins us in this class as we learn a whole new set of signs and do new activities to help us practice them.

NEW! - Individual Training Sessions - 60-min. pres. to whole family tailored to your child - includes helpful handouts and products (board books, music CD's, etc.) to continue signing after initial training - $100- for babies/toddlers expecting to 14 months
