30-Minute Classes

Toddler Rooms to the Fives

Children explore fun themes such as Feelings, Colors, Friends, Safety, Pets, Zoo Animals, Manners, Farm Animals, Sea Creatures, and more...

Each class includes books, songs, and activities to make learning signs easy and entertaining. Children are excited as BeeBo™ the Baby Signs® Bear puppet helps start each class with a song!

Color Class Fall Class

These classes were large but it's preferable to teach 8-10 children for optimal

learning conditions.

Certification of Centers

Your childcare center can be sign language certified with a three-hour workshop. This provides teachers with a uniform set of signs to teach signing. It also includes a BeeBo™ Bear puppet, books, and other reference materials to use in the classrooms. Additional resources include progress reports to track student improvement and send home to parents. Monthly newsletters give parents tips and suggestions for signing activities at home.

Full-center certification ranges from $300-$600. This includes the workshop and materials with continuing support and follow-up, as needed.

Infant Development Workshop

This 90-minute workshop focuses on infant development but is available for all

classroom teachers.

(Texas trainer certification provided.)

Cost is $20/teacher.

Other Classes Available for Parents

Sibling Class

This 45-minute Sibling Class is available for all family members. Special attention is paid to the older sibling's new role

as teacher. Cost - $30.00/family

A four-week Tummy Time Class teaches parents

how to help their 2-6 month-old baby make the most of this important developmental stage.

Cost - $100.00 for 4 sessions

Parent Workshop

This Parent Workshop enhances parents' understanding of the signs

their children are using. It helps parents go "all in" with the signing fun!

Discounted rates are available for center parents for this fun

and informative 45-minute workshop.

Potty Training

Are your teachers tired of changing diapers on children over 2 years old?

Baby Signs® to the rescue!

This potty training kit makes this crucial step easier and keeps toddlers motivated.

The best way to solve this problem is to let Tina give a

at your center for infant room parents.

This FREE 90-minute presentation shows how signing and early communication

can help children potty train earlier (around 12 months).

About Tina

Tina Cavanaugh has been using American Sign Language (ASL) skills to give parents better communication tools since 2009. Signing helps remove the overwhelming frustration parents feel when they can't understand their child's needs or wants. In 2011, Tina expanded her classes and began to teach in child care centers also.

With 10 years of classes at Austin Sign Language School, Tina has the educational background to teach ASL signs (with a few modified signs for little fingers) to the children in your center. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the required certification necessary for a childcare center - including CPR training, fingerprints on file, and liability insurance.

Tina has limited availability for one or two new centers in 2016: Days open are Tuesday and Wednesday (afternoons only) - and some availability on Mondays and Fridays (mornings and afternoons).
