A Note From Tina
And Daddy Too!

Father's Day is coming soon (June 15th) so congratulations to all you new dads! One of the many benefits of signing with a new baby is how it enhances the infant/parent bond. Mommies get more bonding time in the early stages with breast feeding, etc. But when a baby/toddler knows signs and daddy "has his back" the dads can get in on the whole bonding thing much earlier. A good, safe "home base" is set up when your child can communicate and get more needs met before they can talk. This creates a more secure, high self-esteem baby and also opens the door earlier for important cognitive and emotional development. Many dads come to the play classes to learn signs along with their baby and everyone has a good time. So congratulations dad and ...

I've been with Modern Woodmen for a few years now and am impressed by everything they offer. Financial planning is important for new families so have a look at their website and see what they can do for you. About Tina
Are you the parent of a baby or toddler and you are frustrated and overwhelmed because you can't understand what your child needs or wants?

Baby SignsŪ Instructor Tina Cavanaugh is here to help you break the communication barrier! With a few signs, babies as young as seven or eight months are able to express their needs, wants, feelings and even memories. Doing this strengthens the infant/parent bond early and gives your child a jump-start toward speaking and early literacy.

With 10 years of sign language training and five years teaching Baby Signs classes, Tina shows parents how to be amazed and thrilled over and over as their baby or toddler begins to share their world with them. Being involved in a process that builds confidence and good self-esteem early in children is huge and the stories that parents share with Tina about their success is pure joy for her.

The play classes go far beyond just learning a few signs. Parents go home with information about how their baby learns and develops intellectually and emotionally through those all-imporant first few years of their lives. Come join the fun that everyone's talking about!
