I hope all you mommies had a great Mother's Day 2014. For many of you it's your first so give your husbands a break if they pooched it. If they did a good job, be sure to tell them how awesome they are!

May has been filled with events and Baby Signs was there talking to new mommies and experienced mommies galore. The MommyCon event was huge and I had a great time talking to moms and dads who came down from Killeen and up from San Antonio along with the Austin area parents about what's ahead for them. At my workshop we covered the importance of tummy time and why starting potty training earlier (as young as 12 months - really!) is better for your baby, your budget and the environment. The Great Cloth Diaper Change set a record for Austin with 134 diapers changed at one time. They were joined by thousands upon thousands of other parents and babies on five continents around the world all changing diapers simultaneously. This event always takes place on or close to Earth Day to raise awareness for the planet and Baby Signs and I are doing our part to help with the Potty Training Made Easy kit! It's time for a "change" folks. Get it? Time for a.... well you know.

Mommies came out to Lakeline Mall for the INDULGE event also this month and it was also a lot of fun meeting so many moms and families. See below for the winner of the potty training kit drawings at both events. Someone also won a play class so if that was you be sure to let me know so we can get you signed up.
