The weather is beginning to chill so it's time to get out the sweaters. New things are still happening at Baby Signs by Tina C. so read on to find out more.

How Little Hands Can Help.

In addition to my Baby Signs classes and workshops I also teach at childcare centers and moms-day-out locations. At one of these there is a little boy in the two-year-old room who always helps me gather my tape player, books and posters, etc. at the end of sign language class. He's so little so it's a little cumbersome to let him help carry the heavier things but it's so important to him and he's so pleased when I praise him for his efforts. He's barely two but already he wants to be part of everything and what a little contributor he is!

NEW! - Meetup Group for Little Signers

Baby Signs® Meetup Group - Austin

This group is a way for families with babies or toddlers that know signs to enjoy a play date with similar families. A Certified Baby Signs® Instructor will always be there to answer any questions and lead the group in fun signing activities and themes. Meetings will be twice monthly all over Austin so everyone has a chance to attend as many or as few meetings as they want. Join now! (Just $10 for whole year)

The first meetup will be at Book People on November 28th at 1:00 p.m. Book People (603 N. Lamar) is centrally located so hopefully you can come and get an idea of how helpful it is to meet other families with signing children.

With the holidays coming up there won't be any Baby Signs Classes until after the 1st of the year. I'll make an exception if enough people are interested so let me know if you and some friends want to get a class in before the end of December and we'll make it happen.
