Last week a few of the V-Hawks and I once again had the opportunity to be a part of the La Crosse Day at Miller Park.  It is an event that includes probably the largest tailgate party that the Brewer lots see on any given year.  Our team along with the help of Coach Barrett and the Viterbo Women's Golf team worked diligently to set things up before over 1000 Brewer fans from the La Crosse community arrived.  We then took down all of the tables and chairs as those fans headed into the Park before we got to see the game ourselves.  Nice to see a 9-2 Brewer victory!

 

To be a part of that great community spirit and to hear so many positive comments about the efforts and character of our players as they work through the day is so refreshing.  It is why we continue to be a part of this great event.  That opportunity along with the great summer camp programming that we do with the WBBY Camp in which we also hear so many positive responses about serves as a great off-season reminder that we all are a part of something bigger than ourselves.

La Crosse, WI - One week before the Iowa State men's basketball team opens its season, the Cyclones will get a final tune-up by facing Viterbo.

The V-Hawks and Cyclones will meet for the first time on Friday, November 7th in an exhibition game in Ames, Iowa.
