As I missed the opportunity to properly bring in the New Year with you in the last Coaches' Corner, I thought I would share with you some great words of wisdom that I recently came across that will hopefully help you through your 2014. Viterbo Falls in Overtime to St. Ambrose

Wednesday January 15 - La Crosse, Wis.

The Viterbo University men's basketball team came up just short of an upset as they fell 72-68 in overtime to #23 ranked St. Ambrose University.

With just under two minutes left in regulation, Viterbo University senior Cole Lewis (Prairie du Chien, Wis.) converted a three-point play the old fashion way to give the V-Hawks a 59-56 lead. The Bees of St. Ambrose University would hit three of four free throws to tie the game up with seven seconds left in regulation. The V-Hawks would have one final shot for the win but Izac Sheforgen's (Sr. - Saint Francis, Minn.) shot came up short and the game went into overtime.

Financial Aid Season is HERE

Now that we have turned the calendar to the new year, our admission office is focusing students attention to the Financial Aid process. The first step is to begin the 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid...the FAFSA. To complete and submit the FAFSA, go to: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Viterbo University's school code is: 003911.

Our admission office will continue to send reminders to those who have applied for admission throughout the winter, however, your target date to be Accepted for Admission AND have ALL Financial Aid Documents completed is March 15th, 2014! This is when our Financial Aid Office will be sending official Award Letters to Incoming Students!

If you haven't applied for admission, please see the link above, "Admission & Enrollment Information" for the beginning admission steps. We strongly encourage this ASAP!
