Legislative Alert 

 New York State is at the threshold of rewriting it's animal cruelty laws so the animals of New York State will be better protected and increases the penalties for those who abuse them. As stated in our memorandum of support the Nassau County SPCA fully supports this legislation. We urge you to contact your New York State Senator and Assembly Member by clicking the link and asking them to strengthen protection for the animals and pets of our State by passing Senate Bill 6730 and Assembly Bill 9917.
