Marian University's
College Tips
|
Get a Head Start
Talk to your student about taking AP or dual-credit classes to get a better idea of the academic rigor ahead of them. Not only will this prepare them for the college classroom, but also provides them with the opportunity to gain college credit before becoming a student at a university. Universities will notice your student's hard work, which might set them apart from other applicants. Ask your student to talk to a counselor and see what their school has to offer.

Summer camps registration open
Registration for Scecina summer camps is now open! We're offering 17 sports, arts and enrichment camps for students in grades 1-8 through the month of June. To register, or for more information, click here. For information about sponsoring summer camps, contact Jean Donlan at jdonlan@scecina.org.
Cafeteria balances due
Please check your students' lunch balances and pay off as soon as possible!
You should have received a letter about the new online cafeteria payment system. Thank you to all parents who are using it. For the parents who aren't, please try at www.mymealtime.com.
The cafeteria will continue to accept checks or cash.
The cafeteria policy states that students may "charge" up to three lunches, a total of $9. After that, students who owe money will be provided a peanut butter sandwich and milk until the account is brought up to date.
Carpool Connection
Anyone interested in carpool information should send an email to admissions@scecina.org and give an email address and ZIP code. The information provided will then be posted on the school website under Student Life, then Carpool. Parents can email families in their ZIP codes to discuss carpooling. Thank you for helping other families in the Scecina Community with their transportation needs.
Mornings: 7:15-8:15 a.m. Monday-Friday
Afternoons/Evenings: Mondays 2:45 -3:30 p.m.
