Accountability:
Results matter
We've all heard the term "accountability" used often in the education world in recent years. There are more efforts to hold schools and educators accountable for student progress through the public reporting of data. Also, our students are made accountable through local and standardized tests as well as regular progress reports that record how well they're doing in their classes.

Officer Jamie Guilfoy '90 learned his lessons about service in the halls of Scecina and has taken them to heart working the streets of Indianapolis. He was honored in November 2015 with the first Narcan Award from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for using Narcan to save the lives of six people who had overdosed on heroin. Spring Musical and Breakfast with the characters
Scecina's spring musical is "Tarzan: The Stage Musical," based on the Disney movie. The show features heart-pumping music and lyrics by rock legend Phil Collins, including the Academy Award-winning song "You'll be in Heart" as well as "Son of Man" and "Two Worlds." The musical will be performed in the Scecina gymnasium at 7 p.m. March 18 and 19 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets $6 general admission and $8 reseved. For advance tickets, please contact Pam Brake at pbrake@scecina.org. New this year for the young ones! Breakfast with Tarzan and Friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday March 19 in the Scecina cafeteria. $6 admission for one adult and one child; $2 each for additional family members.
