Marian University's
College Tips
|
Take Advantage of Resources
Representatives from universities often visit high schools to answer questions and provide thorough information to prospective students. Encourage your student to meet with representatives so they can get initial questions answered before taking the next steps to choosing a school. Have your student contact their guidance counselor or admissions counselors from schools they are considering to learn more.
Schedule Campus Visits
Location, class-size, and student-life are just some of the types of facts that are often listed on university websites and hand-outs. It is important to schedule campus visits to get a better understanding of what the facts and numbers really mean. University's offer overnight visits so your student and can immerse themselves into college life and get a feel for what type of campus best suits their needs. Marian University offers multiple campus visit options and opportunities for prospective students.
