Student Spotlight:
Sam Traylor '18
Each week the Scecina Student Spotlight introduces the Crusader Community to a student who has been a recipient of the President's Academic Excellence Award.

A standout athlete since his CYO days at Our Lady of Lourdes, sophomore Sam Traylor received the Crusader Scholar Athlete Award while still an eighth-grader for his efforts and success in both academics and athletics. Now a full-fledged Crusader, Sam is the starting quarterback for the Scecina JV football team and a member of the track and field program. With a 3.94 grade point average, Sam repeated as a Crusader Scholar Athlete in his freshman year.
