It's always a pleasure when Scecina's alumni return to visit. Recently, I was pleased to welcome Col. Dan Bruno, Class of 1977, back to Scecina.

Col. Bruno, who is retired from the U.S. Army, rose to the position of Garrison Commander of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He returned to Scecina on a somber day of reflection, Sept. 11, as America observed the 14th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., as well as the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. Col. Bruno lost numerous friends as a result of the tragic events of that day.
