The 85 members of  the Class of  2015 have begun the next stage of their lives as proud Scecina alumni. The May 22 commencement ceremony, with special guest Archbishop Joseph W. Tobin in attendance, was full of accolades, awards, speeches, laughter and tears. The class received a record amount in college merit-based and athletic scholarships: over $8.1 million. The real value, though, of a Scecina education runs deeper than numbers or trophies. Class Notes
  • Cassie (Byrd) Echegaray '07 married Kevin Echegaray on April 5, 2014, and welcomed their first son, Franco Alberto, on Dec. 23, 2014. Cassie will be completing her Transition to Teaching certification in May 2015.
  • Cynthia (Weisse) Steinmetz '66 retired on Dec. 23, 2014, from the University of Indianapolis after 33 years working in Information Systems. She is looking forward to the new adventures of being retired!
  • Mark Allen '75 received C.I.T Crisis intervention training through the Hamilton County Sheriff Department.
  • Christopher Felts '87, of Barnes and Thornburg, was elected president of the Board of Directors at the Immigrant Welcome Center in Indianapolis.
  • Justin Cavanaugh '13 graduated from a Marines training program in San Diego. Justin was an assistant coach in the boys basketball program until departing for San Diego.
