Do you remember that popular United States Army recruiting slogan, Be All That You Can Be? The Army used it for over 20 years. That's a good long run. Well, for over 60 years, Scecina Memorial High School (SMHS) has encouraged all students to develop their God-given talents to the fullest, to be all that they can be.

"Totally shocked - This was one of the biggest surprises of my life! Even when the award was being presented, I still did not know whom they were talking about. I could not believe so many people knew about the award and kept it a secret for so long. After I received the award, I thought it would have been nice to have my brother and sister-in-law there, and I found out after Mass that they were there! Even the 8th graders at Little Flower knew about the award and didn't want to spoil the surprise. I was very touched by it all." - Father Bob Gilday
