Pentecost Season 2016
        
       As we look ahead to the close of our academic season at Christ Church and the Church School Celebration Sunday/Youth Sunday.... we're trying to get a sense of which families/children will be with us to participate. There a several options:
               Readings/being a reader
               Writing and/or Reading Prayers of the People
               Helping share the Peace with the congregation
               Helping the Ushers
               Creating a Banner or Artwork for display
               Acolyting
               Other ideas?

       By replying to this email you can let Nicole and the volunteers know who is around. If you can't make one of the next two prep-Sundays and still want to participate, let us know as well. Depending on the request we can get the materials to you.

       We are beginning to look forward to next year's Church School program and are going to a volunteer "team" program as we do for Coffee Hour. You'll see a sign up on the white board in the Great Hall. Note the creative team names.
Coming Up

Saturday-Sunday, May 21st-22nd: Relay for Life at the Woodstock Fairgrounds (12 noon to 12 noon)

Sunday, May 22nd: 8 (Hymns with Dennis and Jim), 9:15 (with Drew and Nine6teen) and 10:15 Services. Contemporary Sunday (last of the season)! 

Monday, May 23rd: Cooking for Community Kitchen

Wednesday, May 25th: Healing Eucharist followed by B'fast at the Bean

Sunday, May 29th: 8, 9:15 and 10:15 services. (Memorial Day weekend)

Wednesday, June 1st: 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist followed by B'fast at the Bean; 6:30 p.m. Ministry Network Meeting in Meriden.

Saturday, June 4th: Galante Celebration of Marriage

Sunday, June 5th: 8, 9:15 and 10:15 Services; Youth & Choir Sunday followed by the Parish Picnic out back! Moonbounce, Cookout, Burgers/Dogs, Potluck salads, Ice Cream Sundays. Thanks for all your help this year!

Wednesday, June 8th: 7:30 a.m. Last Healing Eucharist & B'fast at the Bean for the season; 7:00 p.m. Vestry Meeting

June Schedule includes:
Jackie Brown & Zach Putnam wedding on June 11th
Jane Hale's Ordination to the Diaconate on Tuesday, June 14th
Paquette Baptism on June 19th
Tiffany & Swenson Baptisms on June 26th

July Schedule includes: Dave is away on vacation for the month of July unless there is pressing emergency and he can be contacted through the office or through the church email; July 3, 9:15 Eucharist with Jim Kellaway, July 10 & 17, 9:15 Eucharist with Joan Phelps, July 24 & 31st, Morning Prayer.
