Innovation comes to your Church!
       
Attached is the flyer invitation to join the Northeast Region Convocation this Friday evening, April 22 (starting at 6 p.m. which includes dinner) and Saturday, April 23rd, starting at 9 a.m. and including lunch. You can come to Friday or Saturday or both.

This is our chance to represent Christ Church in these important discussions "re-imagining" the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. 

Participants in the Convocation will be exploring and making fundamental decisions about how our northeast region will be governed and organized.  We will also identify  our call to meet God in our mission work, and explore how we can pursue our mission priorities most effectively and collaboratively with our neighboring parishes in the northeast.

We hope for a really strong delegation from Christ Church and would love YOUR ideas and input.  Please consider joining us this upcoming weekend. You will be joining with  members from all 20 parishes in the northeast region in this exploration together.

We're doing ride-share as desired. We leave the parking lot of the church on Friday at 5 p.m. and also on Saturday at 8 a.m. Come by if you'd like to share otherwise we'll see you an the June Norcross Webster Scout Camp on Route 44 in Ashford. Can't miss it. It's on the right very near to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

(Please note that you will have to register separately for Friday night and Saturday's events. )

We hope you can attend both but please join us for whatever works for you.

All that is really required is your heart and interest in joining in fellowship with others in this process to re-invent our Church and our calling.

Wednesday, May 4th: 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist followed by B-fast at the Bean

Friday, May 6th Rummage Sale Setup and Pricing; Saturday, May 7th, J2A Rummage Sale

Sunday, May 8th, Last Easter: 8, 9:15 and 10:15 services. Mother's Day Sunday; (Jane is away)

Wednesday, May 11th: 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist; Vestry meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Pentecost Sunday, May 15th: 8, 9:15 and 10:15 services. J2A Car Wash

Wednesday, May 18th: 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist followed by Breakfast at the Bean

Saturday-Sunday, May 21st-22nd: Relay for Life at the Woodstock Fairgrounds (12 noon to 12 noon)

Sunday, May 22nd: 8, 9:15 and 10:15 Services. Contemporary Sunday (last of the season)!
