Welcome to your church: Sharing the Feast.

A PDF of our mailing can be found  HERE

A Copy of the Pledge Card is posted HERE

As we head into the new year and you have not yet pledged we hope you will pick the form up off your desk and pray/ponder your gift to Christ Church in 2015. Thanks!

How about Pledging and Donating by eCheck, Credit Card, etc.? And more, keeping track of your own donations in the same secure way? You now can with our direct on-line option:

(Note: when you wish to access your Christ Church easytithe account you will need to go through this donation button on the Reminder or on the website. It will not work on the easytithe site directly. That log in is for account managers.)

Amazon Smile Program
Amazon.com will donate .5 percent of eligible purchases to Christ Church. Amazon pays these donations. You do not. You can access that through the link below. You can still shop through your own account but Christ Church will benefit as many items that you can purchase are eligible for the donation.... We are already beginning to have payments from Amazon so keep up the support! Thanks!

Flower Memorials/ Thanksgivings:.... FlowersMemorialsThanks

Starting again in Epiphany season you can participate by donating flowers that you purchase on your own or by signing up to have them purchased for you. The Flower Sign Up Master List is posted to the Left of the office door. You can sign up right there....... or call the office (928-7026) to Make a Memorial or a Thanksgiving for a loved one. If you sign up during the summer you can bring in flowers from your garden and leave them in vases on Saturday morning by the sacristy door and we can arrange them!

Church School Notes....
ChurchSchool

Important Reminders:

This Sunday our Epiphany workshop cycle continues with a Baptism workshop for 1st and 2nd graders and Art for 3rd and 4th graders.   The Godly Play group will ponder "The Good Shepherd" story.  The 5th and 6th graders continue to bone up on their bible knowledge and prepare for our "Bible Jeopardy & Games" in February!

As we start a new year in Church School, it is a great time to review our behavior expectations to ensure that a positive and safe learning environment is maintained for all!  We have three basic guidelines clearly posted in all rooms downstairs:  "Be Safe", "Be Respectful", and "Have Fun".  We strongly encourage parents of children who attend Church School to talk about why these rules are important to honor, and how they relate to one another.  The directors and volunteer leaders will be inviting conversation about them with students over the next few Sundays including introducing new teacher-response protocols to help our students be attentive and supportive of one another. Your at-home support is appreciated!

Housekeeping:

If you are not currently a Church School volunteer. This is always an exciting time of year to get involved, even if "behind the scenes", and help is always needed! The possible "jobs" are not very time consuming. Your presence on Sunday morning is the key. We are especially interested in folks who are new to church school activities.

Thanks so much to Lori Moran for her donation of Legos.  We still welcome any offerings of unwanted 'generic' pieces, platforms, and minifigures!  The more we have on hand, the more groups we can include in these activities, and the more creative the children can get with them.  We have received some Lego donations (Thank you!), but still welcome any offerings of unwanted 'generic' pieces, platforms, and minifigures!  The more we have on hand, the more groups we can include in these activities, and the more creative the children can get with them.  Please bring donations to Amy or Nicole, or leave them in the office!  (If you wish, we may be able to provide a charitable donation form for tax purposes.) Please bring donations to Amy or Nicole, or leave them in the office!  (If you wish, we may be able to provide a charitable donation form for tax purposes.)

Remember our Church School outreach by collecting food and toiletry items for ACCESS/Daily Bread.  The children are especially proud when it takes several of them to "haul" our heavily laden basket up the aisle in church. A copy of a needs list can also be found HERE
