You can still shop through your own account but Christ Church will benefit as many items that you can purchase are eligible for the donation.... We are already beginning to have payments from Amazon so keep up the support! Thanks!

Important Reminders:

Happy New Year!

Thank you again to all who helped to make the Christmas Pageant wonderful, and for all the families who supported this event by helping your child learn their part, arrive at practices, and being present to share in the service.

This Sunday we will begin a short Epiphany workshop cycle for grades 1-4 with a felt story overview of the arrival of the Magi, flight to Egypt, and Jesus' growth and Baptism. Workshop leaders are still needed for Art ('Following the Star' banner) and Cooking (Stained Glass 'Transfiguration' cookies). Please contact Nicole or Amy if you have just two Sundays in Jan./Feb. to volunteer for either of these activities! We can supply you with background materials ahead of time, and can purchase any supplies you might need! The other two Epiphany workshops will be Lego construction and Baptism Godly play. (Thank you to Lisa H. and Kirsten R. for volunteering to teach those!)

Pageant Photos forthcoming. Here are the final clips of the video. There is also a DVD/video prepared that is available as a "hard copy" (too big to put up on Youtube). Let Dave know if you'd like one. Video is good, sound is just okay.

Housekeeping:

If you are not currently a Church School volunteer. This is always an exciting time of year to get involved, even if "behind the scenes", and help is always needed! The possible "jobs" are not very time consuming. Your presence on Sunday morning is the key. We are especially interested in folks who are new to church school activities.

We'd LOVE your old Legos (those you're not donating to the Fair)!  We are looking at a new curriculum called "Building Faith Brick by Brick" which we'd like to pilot in the winter/spring.  If you have unwanted Legos at home of any kind, please consider donating them to Church School for this purpose.

Remember our Church School outreach by collecting food and toiletry items for ACCESS/Daily Bread.  The children are especially proud when it takes several of them to "haul" our heavily laden basket up the aisle in church. A copy of a needs list can also be found HERE
