Help Us Help Others!
  • Can you help make bows for the wreaths?  We need about 60 and have a bow-making machine. We can supply the materials. Contact Dayna at 860-634-1863 or Dave at 860-608-7632.
  • Items below would be very much appreciated:
    • Bottles and Jars filled with anything interesting for the Bottle Board
    • NEW items that you'd like to 'give it again'
    • Crystal, China, Silver settings
    • Gently used sports equipment
    • Homemade items for Craft booth which can include bird houses, boot scrapers, fun simple items that folks tend to need and use
    • Antique and/or costume jewelry
    • Gently used toys/childrens books
  • For Friday/EARLY Saturday morning:
    • Cooked/diced chicken.... goes in the kitchen fridge
    • Homemade cookies (bring in Ziploc bag labeled i.e., nuts, etc)
    • Homemade baked goods (pies are a great item)
    • Homemade chocolate items
  • REMEMBER to SHOP the Fair on Saturday for gifts and cool stuff. You can pay by check, cash or by credit card this year!

  1. Fair Week: Updates to come on when the church hall will be open for baking, organizing and setting up: Mon. through Thursday, the buildings are open until 8 p.m.; Baking on Wed. and Thurs. in the Kitchen.
  2. Thursday, Dec. 4th, 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist 
  3. Saturday, Dec. 6th, St. Nicholas Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This special Christ Church community event raises money for our outreach in the community. Help us Help others.
  4. Sunday, Dec. 7th, all services, Pageant Practice continues! Concert Choir Concert on Saturday and Sunday; At 5 p.m. Hospice Tree of Life at CCPomfret.
  5. Wednesday, Dec. 9th, 7 p.m. Vestry
  6. Thursday, Dec. 10th, 7:30 a.m. Healing Eucharist
  7. Sunday, Dec. 14th, all services, Pageant Practice
  8. Saturday, December 20th.... Pageant Rehearsal at the Tang Center, Rectory School (10 a.m. to 12 noon)
  9. Sunday, December 21st... 8 a.m. and 10:15 services... Christmas Pageant at the 10:15 in the Tang
  10. Wednesday, Christmas Eve, Dec. 24th... 2 p.m. Eucharist and Building the Creche' for youngest families; 4:30 p.m. Family Eucharist with Teen Readers; 10:30 Candlelit Festival Eucharist with the Choir
  11. Thursday, Christmas Day, Dec. 25th: 9 a.m. Eucharist
  12. Sunday, Dec. 28th, 8 a.m. and 10:15 Services with the Rev. Jim Kellaway, guest. No young people's programs or choir.
