What's Up & What's Coming...

For many of us, it has been without a doubt the longest winter. For me personally, it has been a thoughtful period that has fueled my desire to bring the global Wonder Women community - a community that we are all building together - a lot closer to each of us.

One of the highest goals of Wonder Women is to literally shine a light on the infinite ways in which women live fascinating, self-inspired and influential lives, even when faced with times of self-doubt and adversity. This winter has provided just the right amount of hibernation for me to put these big wishes and ideas into motion to create SPOTLIGHT!

You will find the VISIT SPOTLIGHT tab on our Facebook page sitting casually right under the banner image, but once you click through... a whole new world, the realm of real life Wonder Women, is revealed.

FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH marks the date of our 4th Annual Community Pride Kick-Off Event at the Rubin Museum with an After Party at Elmo Lounge (more event details to follow).

The right to be accepted for who we are with regards to sexual orientation and self expression is a very integral aspect of women's rights, and there are far too many rights that women are still fighting for in 2014.

Do you feel the same way too?

Let's hold a no tolerance rule around discrimination. Let's show up on Friday, June 6th to enjoy and celebrate each other in a stunning space, and know that we are all there because we practice a "no tolerance rule".

Every year I invite a group of community based organizations and allies to join us as partners. If you or an organization you know might want to be involved as a partner, kindly reach out to me directly via email before April 25th.
