Greetings!

I am feeling fearless after our last Wonder Women in Action! event. If you were there, you probably feel the same way:) Interesting people, great food, drinks, meaningful conversations and new relationships were formed. Actress, Voice Over Artist, Writer, Fitness Professional and Super Mom Traci Godfrey delivered the goods in what turned out to be a very open, thoughtful, heartfelt, inspiring and funny interview conversation on our topic of the evening, "Being Fearless". If you click on our "Being Fearless" collage above you will be able to view the entire photo album. Please remember to Like!

I am psyched about the next Wonder Women in Action! empowered networking and interview event in the series. I will send out an event invite once we are ready to reveal the details. Please pencil in the date March 19th, as I would absolutely love to see you there. I am working tirelessly on creating engaging events for this year. Expect invites to all of our most popular annual events again this year and we will be announcing at least one new one that I am dreaming up as I write to you.

I am pleased to announce that the January Wonder Women in Action! interview video on the topic "Resolution Revolution" with Kim Ann Curtin, The Wall Street Coach is ready to be viewed and with it comes the launch of the Wonder Women Theme Song! (The Invisible Airplane Mix).

I am thankful to the extremely gifted
Alina Wilczynski
owner of Moonkissed Media. Alina is the talent behind both video and Theme Song and just happens to also be the creator of the Wonder Women Logo, which she designed exactly as I envisioned it. I hope that you will enjoy taking the time out to view the video and watch the credits at the very end of the interview.

As we exit Black History Month I could not help but agree with American actor, film director, and narrator Morgan Freeman's statement which I found in my research for this article in Wikipedia
"I don't want a black history month. Black history is American history."

Everyone has their opinion of course and living in a democratic society we should have that freedom. I am curious to know how many of my readers agree with this statement that Mr Freeman made. Please email me your thoughts and I will post it on Wonder Women's Facebook page.

For me Black History Month is a trigger point about equal rights. Mine, yours and the next generation to lead. It is my belief that every woman, man and child should be treated equally with respect and openness. Why is it in 2013, women are still paid less than men, why on earth would we still be fighting a battle to have the right to make decisions about our own bodies? Why is it that in a country built by immigrants that we still have to fight every day to be treated with respect because of a different accent, custom, dress code and belief system, to mention a few examples of what should be recognized as beautiful, powerful and uniquely human attributes that create a dynamic and interesting world from which to learn, empower and build upon. Why is it in 2013 the color or ones skin, sexuality and sexual preference still get met with such disdain? Why are we teaching our children to hate?

I think you got the picture. So my next question is "what are you doing in your life to set an example in your home, in your circle, in your conversations with those less aware than you? Again please write to me with your thoughts and I will post it on our Facebook page.

These issues are why...
