Set the mood of your business through music, scent and digital signage. Mood/FCC has the largest inventory of fully licensed, commercial- and DJ-free music to suit any business environment: from retail to office, to restaurants and spas, to assisted living facilities and more. Of course good music is only as good as the sound system it plays on, so Mood/FCC also specializes in commercial audio and visual equipment: including sound systems, video conferencing equipment, digital signage, paging and surveillance equipment, and even sound masking for privacy concerns.
MOOD: Media purchased Muzak, DMX, Trusonic and several other U.S. business/branded music platforms. Functional Communications (FCC) is a third-generation, family-owned, authorized independent local affiliate of MOOD: Media (and formerly Muzak) that has been serving the Rochester, Syracuse and Albany areas for more than 60 years. In addition to the branded sensory experience, FCC has significant expertise installing and maintaining high-end / complex audio and video systems, including conference and surveillance systems.

Business of the Month Committee
seeks storytellers and
wannabe reporters
The work of the PBA is accomplished through the dedication and hard work of committees formed to manage different projects throughout the year. As with all volunteer organizations, our success depends largely on the willingness of our membership to participate on these committees and make things happen.
The Business of the Month Committee could use your help! They are specifically looking for people with excellent writing skills who can tell our members' story with interest and finesse. A portion of the work of this committee involves interviewing potential Business of the Month businesses to learn more about them.
Here's the "Official Description" of the Business of the Month Committee: "Reviews nominations, selects a business to be recognized each month, contacts and interviews the business, and writes the business summary for the website, local media, and newsletter. Prepares the award certificate and manages the outdoor signage."
If you would like to volunteer to work on the Business of the Month committee and share your time and talent with your community, contact us and we will connect you with the Committee Chair.

DID YOU KNOW?
That you can add Member-2-Member Deals to your directory listing on our website using your Member Center login. You can even change them from time to time.
Same for Community Hot Deals - you control the deal, when it's offered, what is offered, and you can change it at any time. You can even schedule a bunch of them to appear and disappear at certain times without having to remember to go back into the system. The deals show up on your directory listing as well as the links to Hot Deals throughout our website.
If you have forgotten your Member Center login or password, simply go to the Member Center link and click on "Forgot Password". An email will be sent to you with your password or a link to reset your password.
All of this is a FREE ADVERTISING benefit to you as a member of the PBA. And who doesn't like free???
If you need assistance with the Member Center at any time, simply email or call us and we will have someone contact you to help. We even make on-site training visits, just ask!
