Penfield Country Club is situated on William Rothfuss's estate and was designed by Pete Craig. This was the first in a total of 7 clubs Craig designed in Rochester and 29 in his career.  In 1958, the 7 founding members of PCC started with a simple mission: To create a club that Penfield can be proud of, offering recreation and hospitality to all ages and interests. This vision continues to be the core of the club today.

BREAKFAST NETWORKING & MEETING:
Ray Isaac's 6 E's of Success

Thursday March 12th
7:00am - 8:30am
Penfield Country Club

The Penfield Business Association welcomes Ray Isaac, third generation president of Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning, for a educational and motivating breakfast meeting.

Over the past eight years, Isaac Heating has more than doubled its revenue, up 20% in 2014.  That increase followed a deliberate effort to change the corporate culture to "employee first." Ray will explain how that occurred. He will end with a discussion on the "6 E's" that promote employee growth.

A hot breakfast buffet will be available at 7:00am. The PBA business meeting will begin promptly at 7:30am followed by Ray's presentation at 7:45am. Event will conclude by 8:30am.
Reservations are required in advance.

Members, please be sure your membership dues for 2015 are paid to qualify for member pricing for this event.

Members $13; Non-members $18; Premium Members - first attendee free, additional employees at member rate.

Penfield Symphony Orchestra's "Very Special Guests" Concert
February 23rd at 7:30pm
Penfield High School Auditorium

The third concert of the PSO's 59th season is sponsored by Penfield's Charles Finney School. It will feature Juliana Athayde (Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's Concertmaster) and Erik Behr (Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's Principal Oboe) in the Baroque masterpiece "Concerto in C minor for Violin and Oboe."

Opening with Rossini's exciting "Overture to La Cenerentola," the concert will conclude with Beethoven's magnificent Symphony No. 8 in F major.

A reception will follow the concert, so audience members will be able to meet our soloists and musicians. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors, and should be ordered as soon as possible, since this concert may be a sell-out with these stellar performers.

Students of any age with student i.d. may attend the concert free, so this is an ideal opportunity to bring the family along for an evening of classical entertainment.

Membership Committee seeks
chatty people persons!

The work of the PBA is accomplished through the dedication and hard work of committees formed to manage different projects throughout the year. As with all volunteer organizations, our success depends largely on the willingness of our membership to participate on these committees and make things happen.

The Membership Committee could use your help! They are specifically looking for people with the gift of gab who would enjoy sharing with other business owners the value of PBA Membership, and follow up with new members to ensure their needs are met.

Here's the "Official Description" of the Membership Committee:

"Actively recruits new businesses through personal visits and informing businesses of the value of membership, oversees the renewal process each year, works with Marketing to develop appropriate benefit materials, sends welcome packages and inputs new member data into database, receives and responds to membership inquiries. Acts as an ambassador of the PBA and Penfield business community."

If you would like to volunteer to work on the membership committee and share your time and talent with your community, contact us and we will connect you with the Committee Chair.

DID YOU KNOW?

That you can add Member-2-Member Deals to your directory listing on our website using your Member Center login. You can even change them from time to time.

Same for Community Hot Deals - you control the deal, when it's offered, what is offered, and you can change it at any time. You can even schedule a bunch of them to appear and disappear at certain times without having to remember to go back into the system.  The deals show up on your directory listing as well as the links to Hot Deals throughout our website.

If you have forgotten your Member Center login or password, simply go to the Member Center link and click on "Forgot Password". An email will be sent to you with your password or a link to reset your password.

All of this is a FREE ADVERTISING benefit to you as a member of the PBA. And who doesn't like free???

If you need assistance with the Member Center at any time, simply email or call us and we will have someone contact you to help. We even make on-site training visits, just ask!
