Penfield Rotary's Stop Hunger Now Community Project to package 30,000 meals on May 9th
Penfield Rotarians have organized a Penfield Community Project to package 30,000 meals on Friday, May 9, at the CDS Wolf Life Transitions Center, 860 Hard Road, in Webster. Through their association with Stop Hunger Now, those meals will be distributed to third world countries, with 70% of them consumed by elementary school children. Each meal costs $.25, so they need to raise $7,500 and recruit 100 volunteers to package them.
Here is how you and/or your colleagues could help:
* Volunteer for a two hour shift (Noon, 2:30, or 5:00)
* Donate some or all of the $75 cost of ingredients that each volunteer on average will package
* Both volunteer and make a donation
* Get a team of colleagues from YOUR COMPANY to volunteer for one of the afternoon two-hour shifts: noon, 2:30, and 5:00

MEMBERSHIP 2014
Thank you, thank you to so many of our members who have promptly renewed their memberships for 2014! It promises to be a great year and we are thrilled that several of you have upgraded to Premium Membership -- it really is a tremendous marketing value for your business.
To continue to provide our members the best value for your membership & marketing dollars, the PBA Board of Directors has voted to hold 2014 Membership Rates steady for the coming year. General Membership will remain $100 and Premium Membership will remain $250. If your business attends many of our events and activities, or needs additional marketing exposure, the Premium Membership is a great savings and marketing opportunity!

Renewal invoices were emailed in December and mailed again in February. We hope all of you will continue to support business vitality in Penfield in 2014. If you need another copy of your invoice, just email us and we will send another. In the mean time, if you know of a neighboring business that could benefit from being a PBA member - to take advantage of our networking events, for the added marketing exposure, for the educational opportunities, or for the good will that comes from being part of something larger than any of us could be alone...tell them about us. They'll be glad you did!
NOTE: all businesses that do not renew their membership by the end of this week will be removed from active membership status.
Don't miss out - renew today!
WHAT HAVE WE DONE FOR YOU LATELY? Testimonials say it best. Tell us what PBA Membership means to you and has provided for your business. Did last year's Kudos Program drive a lot of traffic to your business? How did the Holiday Edition Newsletter work out for you? Was one of our workshops helpful for you, your business or your employees? Did you meet a few good contacts at our networking events? Are our Economic Development and Business Vitality presentations the highlight of your year? Send us an email with your thoughts and we will feature it in a future newsletter, on our website, or at our upcoming events. Help others see the value of this long-standing business community organization. |

DID YOU KNOW?
That you can add Member-2-Member Deals to your directory listing on our website using your Member Center login. You can even change them from time to time.
Same for Community Hot Deals - you control the deal, when it's offered, what is offered, and you can change it at any time. You can even schedule a bunch of them to appear and disappear at certain times without having to remember to go back into the system. The deals show up on your directory listing as well as the links to Hot Deals throughout our website.
If you have forgotten your Member Center login or password, simply go to the Member Center link and click on "Forgot Password". An email will be sent to you with your password or a link to reset your password.
All of this is a FREE ADVERTISING benefit to you as a member of the PBA. And who doesn't like free???
If you need assistance with the Member Center at any time, simply email or call us and we will have someone contact you to help. We even make on-site training visits, just ask!
