SUMMIT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
The Summit Federal Credit Union was established in July of 1941 as the Rochester Telephone Federal Credit Union. It was founded by Herbert Davis, Harold Madigan, F.C. Goodwin Jr. and the original Board of Directors who had a vision and the energy to create a financial cooperative aimed at helping members save and borrow for their future at attractive rates and favorable terms. Over the years they have evolved from a single sponsor credit union exclusively serving Rochester Telephone employees, to a multi-million dollar credit union serving tens of thousands of members across Western and Central New York. Nominate a Business of the Month
Each month, the PBA Business of the Month committee selects a member business that is a positive influence and actively involved in building and strengthening our community. If you know of a member business that is actively involved in our community, send us an email nominating them for this award. Tell us a little bit about them and what they do for the community and we'll take it from there.

FROM YOUR PBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHAT HAVE WE DONE FOR YOU LATELY?
Testimonials say it best. Tell us what PBA Membership means to you and has provided for your business. Did last year's Kudos Program drive a lot of traffic to your business? How did the Holiday Edition Newsletter work out for you? Was one of our workshops helpful for you, your business or your employees? Did you meet a few good contacts at our networking events? Are our Economic Development and Business Vitality presentations the highlight of your year? Send us an email with your thoughts and we will feature it in a future newsletter, on our website, or at our upcoming events. Help others see the value of this long-standing business community organization.
It's that time of year again, the holidays are over, January is upon us and it's time to make good things happen in 2014. To provide our members the best value for your membership & marketing dollars, the PBA Board of Directors has voted to hold 2014 Membership Rates steady for the coming year. General Membership will remain $100 and Premium Membership will remain $250. If your business attends many of our events and activities, or needs additional marketing exposure, the Premium Membership is a great savings and marketing opportunity!
Renewal invoices were emailed last month and we hope all of you will continue to support business vitality in Penfield in 2014. If you need another copy of yours, just email us and we will send another. In the mean time, if you know of a neighboring business that could benefit from being a PBA member - to take advantage of our networking events, for the added marketing exposure, for the educational opportunities, or for the good will that comes from being part of something larger than any of us could be alone...tell them about us. They'll be glad you did!

DID YOU KNOW?
That you can add Member-2-Member Deals to your directory listing on our website using your Member Center login. You can even change them from time to time.
Same for Community Hot Deals - you control the deal, when it's offered, what is offered, and you can change it at any time. You can even schedule a bunch of them to appear and disappear at certain times without having to remember to go back into the system. The deals show up on your directory listing as well as the links to Hot Deals throughout our website.
If you have forgotten your Member Center login or password, simply go to the Member Center link and click on "Forgot Password". An email will be sent to you with your password or a link to reset your password.
All of this is a FREE ADVERTISING benefit to you as a member of the PBA. And who doesn't like free???
If you need assistance with the Member Center at any time, simply email
or call us and we will have someone contact you to help. We even make on-site training visits, just ask!
