PaperRozzi Invitations & Stationary
1201 Bay Road, Webster
PaperRozzi Invitations & Stationary opened its doors in 2006 after originally starting as a custom framing store called Rozmataz Art & Framing at the same location on Bay Road in the Town of Penfield in 2001. Owners Roz and Greg Richards had such great success with their original framing business that they decided to expand their services to include invitations and stationery, focusing on the wedding market. Today 90% of their combined business specializes in wedding stationery and serves the local Penfield and Webster communities, much of it through word of mouth and search optimized e-commerce. PaperRozzi has been a member of the PBA since 2009. (more)
Help Us Nominate the Business of the Month
Each month, the PBA Business of the Month committee selects a member business that is a positive influence and actively involved in building and strengthening our community. Some examples of how previous Business of the Month recipients have made a difference in our community are:
- Serving as a volunteer on a Board of Directors for a charitable or other organization
- Donating time and resources to various church groups, Penfield school programs or teams, community programs, etc.
- Volunteering for, assisting or organizing fundraisers for not-for-profit entities in the area
These are only a few examples of how Penfield businesses are making a difference. If you know of a member business that is actively involved in our community, send us an email nominating them for this award. Tell us a little bit about them and what they do for the community and we'll take it from there.

Items can be anything you want to use to promote your business - a flyer, a coupon, a pen, a special gift...whatever you have 140 of and that we can come pick up from you before July 1st. You provide the item, we do all the rest.
And..... if you haven't signed up to golf already, now's the time, with special early bird discounted pricing through June 10th (that's next week folks!). All registrations received before June 10th will also be entered into an "Early Birdie" drawing for a special gift prize. Also, this year's tournament winners will be recognized in ladies AND men's categories.....so get the girls together and let's have a great day of golf for a great cause!
There are several sponsorship opportunities still available as well, including Dinner Sponsor, Flag and Tee Sponsors, and advertising in the Tournament Program. Gift items for the raffles, auction and live-auction are always needed and most welcome.

Free Advertising Opportunity ~ ROC Transit Day
ROC Transit Day encourages thousands of Rochesterians to use public transportation instead of driving and to shop at local businesses like yours. On June 20, anyone who takes the bus and has a RTS fare card will be able take advantage of exclusive deals and offers at participating shops and businesses all around Rochester. For details and an interactive map, visit www.ROCtransitday.com.
To be a part of the action, all you need to do is offer a discount or a special deal to your customers if they show you a bus pass on June 20. You can offer anything - a free give-a-way, a dollar off, buy-one-get-one, etc.). Just tell the organizers what you plan to offer, and they will promote your business. THIS IS FREE ADVERTISING FOR YOUR BUSINESS! All participating businesses will be displayed on their interactive map and will be mentioned repeatedly in their marketing communications and linked to from their event website. If you would like to add your business to this event for free, call 585-354-6232 or email info@ReconnectRochester.org.
WFSS Issues Penfield Challenge to Drill Well
Through June 30th
Water for South Sudan, a not-for-profit organization located in Penfield, is planning a town-wide effort to dig a well in Africa. WFSS is partnering with a number of Penfield organizations and businesses, including the Penfield Public Library, The Barn Owl, Starbucks and Penfield Sport and Fitness Club to raise $15,000 - the full cost of a single well.
WFSS will partner with the Penfield Library for their Summer Reading Game (June 24 through July 31) whose theme this year is "Dig into Reading." A generous Penfield supporter has allowed a donation to be earmarked for children participating in summer reading game; children who fulfill their reading contracts will get to "earn" money toward a well to be drilled for the Penfield community.
They already have $5,000 committed to this, thanks to the library program donor and would like to open the project up to other Penfield businesses. Consider placing a change jar at your place of business to collect much needed funds to help dig water wells for clean drinking water, or contact them to discuss other possibilities for fundraising at your business. Visit their website to learn more about the project and for contact information.

PBA Event Reservation Payment Notice
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your incredible support in attending our events! We appreciate your enthusiasm and participation in our workshops, networking and community events.
In the past, the PBA has absorbed any expense for members who registered for events but were unable to attend for various reasons. Unfortunately the cost for holding events has increased and it has become necessary for us to change this practice. Going forward, the PBA will need to charge you for any reservation you are unable to fulfill unless we receive a cancellation notice 48 hours prior to the event. We are sensitive to the fact that last minute schedule challenges occur and we encourage you to send a substitute in your place if you find yourself unable to attend.
For all PBA meetings requiring reservations and a meeting fee, we have always extended a "pay at the door" option to our members and guests and will continue to do so. We also offer the option to pay by credit/debit card or PayPal on the PBA website.
Again, thank you for your tremendous support! We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
