Inspiration and Motivation for those touched by cancer

7 Small Ways to Make a Big Difference

  1. Ask 3 friends to join you for a fun-filled day of golf, raffles, dinner and cocktails at our 4th Annual Golf Outing! Sign up by Sept. 1 and save!
  2. Sponsor one of our Lexie's Legs runners
  3. Do you know a child who is in the hospital undergoing chemo and/or radiation treatments? Friends don't let friends deal with childhood cancer alone! Send an email, text, photo or card once a week to Mom and/or Dad and tell them how you're going to help (don't ask how; just do it).
  4. Encourage your HR department to make matching donations to The Lexiebean Foundation. Or, invite them to become one of our Sponsors
  5. Want to lose weight, feel great, and have the most fun you've ever had exercising? Join our Lexie's Legs Team. You, your spouse, and your older kids can all run - and your little ones can come and cheer you on.
  6. Donate your credit card rewards points to us and we'll use the points to help one of our very worthy kids and families.
  7. Buy journal ads on our website. You'll get great rates, spread the word about your business or services, and help children with pediatric cancer.

Dear Friends,

Can you believe how fast this Summer has zoomed by? With August almost over and September nearly here, it's time to think about all we have done and all we have planned for the weeks and months ahead.

For the third Summer in a row, we spent the day at Sunrise Day Camp. This is the only dedicated full day summer camp in the nation for pediatric cancer patients and their siblings.

On July 31, we spent a sunshine-filled day with the campers that included serving them a pizza party lunch, goodie bags and entertainment. We handed out over 300 goodie bags to the crowd of happy kids and families. Check out our Facebook page to see photos of our favorite moments on this wonderful day.

ATTENTION: Our Golf Outing is coming up next month, and we really, really would love it if you and your friends could join us! This is always one of our most popular events. Golfers get to enjoy 18 holes on the private course at Woodside Acres Country Club in beautiful Muttontown, New York.

Mail in your registration or do it online - you'll get $50 off for registering before September 1! Check out our flyer for more details.

Want to become one of our Sponsors? We are lucky to have the best sponsors in the world, and we can always use more! To find out how to sponsor this and other events, please contact Joe Falabella (Lexie's Dad) at our offices in Plainview at 516-776-9415.

All the best,

Your friends at The Lexiebean Foundation
