Sprigeo Reporting System in All LPS Secondary Schools
When secondary students returned to class for second semester, they discovered we now have an online system that students may use to report bullying incidents and school safety threats. This system, called Sprigeo, has been piloted in a few of our schools in recent years, with positive feedback. Therefore, our district's Safety and Security Committee made the decision to implement the system in all LPS secondary schools.

Click here to read a document about Sprigeo that provides additional information.  We are excited to have this new tool accessible to us and want to encourage students to take advantage of this system, if necessary.

Honor an LPS Teacher With Valentine's Day Gift
Do you know a special teacher who seems to never give up on their students, who sees potential in every student, and always seems to go the extra mile to make sure kids are not only learning, but excited about school?  Think about all of your child's teachers - what special teachers, administrators, or staff members in your child's life deserve a special Valentine message to say thank you?

This year, to honor Liberty Public Schools teachers, administrators, and staff, the Liberty School District Foundation (LSDF) is sponsoring a special teacher recognition opportunity; for Valentine's Day, you are invited to give a donation to the Liberty School District Foundation in honor of any special teacher, administrator, or staff member who works for LPS.  For each donation, LSDF will attach a heart to a Valentine's Day card to be delivered to honored educators; hearts will include your name on it acknowledging your generosity and gratitude (gift amount not mentioned).  All donations must be made by February 4, are tax deductible, and will be used to support the Foundation and its programs, which directly benefit LPS students.

For more information, visit www.LSDF.org.  Remember, to include your heart on a Valentine's Day card, you must make your donation by February 4 - this may be done by clicking here
