Liberty Community Christmas Tree Assistance Program Gearing Up
The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program is gearing up for another year and has extended the application deadline to November 6 for those who need Christmas assistance. This program lends a hand to disadvantaged families and older adults in the Liberty area who are facing a difficult holiday season.

Anyone living within the Liberty Public School District boundaries is eligible for assistance. School-aged children must be enrolled in a Liberty school. Home-schooled children must be registered in an official LPS extra-curricular activity; enrollment will be confirmed. Those needing assistance may fill out an online application at or call the Liberty Community Christmas Tree program at 439-4424, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted, so click on the above link today to see what we're all about!

If you, or someone you know, could use a little help this holiday season, please encourage them to apply. With the annual Liberty Public Schools food drive, the generosity of donors and volunteers, the program provides several boxes of food to families in program, as well as vouchers that volunteers use to buy gifts for the kids. Applications may be filled out online at or by calling 816-439-4424.
QuickNews Bulletin Board
In an effort to make our Liberty Public Schools e-newsletter, QuickNews, a concise publication in which subscribers may read in timely fashion, district/community announcements will be advertised in the main QuickNews section for a maximum of two weeks.  After this period of time, announcements will be transferred to our QuickNews Bulletin Board, which is located on the LPS website provided at the link below. In addition, the Bulletin Board may include announcements not meeting the criteria to be placed in this publication. The addition of the QN Bulletin Board allows them to now be publicized. This bulletin board will continuously be updated throughout the week, and announcements will remain until they expire by date.
