Area Law Students Begin Clinical & Extern Work
This semester, students from Temple Law School, Villanova Law School, and Drexel Law School are taking part in clinical and externship programs with the Pennsylvania Innocent Project. We have 17 students altogether, investigating and working on 12 potential innocence claims. All of the students receive academic training in issues related to wrongful convictions, in addition to their course work.
Ryan Forum a Grand Success
Over 140 people attended the Matthew J.
Ryan Forum, Innocents Behind Bars: the Keys to
Exoneration held at Villanova Law School last month. Panels covered such topics as False Confessions, Investigating Innocence Claims, Bias in Forensic Science and Legislative Proposals to address wrongful convictions. A video of the event is available throught the Villanova Law School web site here
