Philly DA Reviewing Marshall Hale Evidence

Innocence Project Logo

The Philadelphia DA's office has agreed to have their own expert review materials submitted by PIP which demonstrate that Marshall Hale is innocent, and has been in prison for a crime he did not commit for 26 years.  A hearing has been set for February 16, at which time we hope the expert will have completed his review.

As we head toward our 2nd anniversary, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project is a busy place!  We have reviewed over 2000 inmate requests for help, and are actively litigating or investigating 17 cases.  We hope to be filing DNA requests in 4 cases within the next 2 months, and are awaiting results in 2 cases already.  We do all of this only through your support; thank you for your commitment to achieving justice for the convicted innocent.
