You can vertically select a block of text in Microsoft Word by holding down the Alt key on your keyboard as you drag the mouse. This will ignore text to the right/left, depending what you want to select.

Banks have been sending out new credit and debit cards due to the credit card industry switching to chip-based cards. According to a September ACI Worldwise Survey, 60% of card users haven't received a chip-enabled card. This may seem like no big deal, but it's actually an opportunity for scammers to take advantage. Watch for E-mails (don't click on links!) and phone calls asking for personal information before sending you a new chip card. These are scams and your bank does not need this information before sending your new card. If you're unsure, call the number on the back of your credit card. It's better to be safe than sorry! |
I had to call my cell phone provider the other day and before hanging up, they provided a friendly reminder to not text and drive. Below are some apps that can help you and your family do just that. Stay safe!
-Live2Txt is an Android app that allows you to block incoming texts and calls while driving, you just have to turn the app on before you start your engine. -AT&T DriveMode is an app for both Android and iOS that silences incoming text messages alerts. -Canary is an app for parents. The app would need to be downloaded on the child's phone, and alerts can be sent when the child goes over the set speed limit, texts while driving, etc. This is available for Android and iOS. -DriveSafe.ly is an interesting app for Android and Blackberry. It reads texts and E-mails aloud in real time so you can keep your eyes on the road. |
