May 2016 is the last month of 9 years at our Edgemont Village location in North Vancouver, BC. For those of you who have visited the store in person, you know that it is cozy in a warm and inviting way, while at the same time "cozy" as in "this room is way too small for the amount of yarn crammed in it!". So think of this as an expansion move rather than a store closure; we are busily arranging for a larger space in which to re-open on the North Shore, hopefully as soon as Fall of this year. So from now until May 28th, let these timeless words console you...

       Starting today, we are giving an additional 10% off all sale yarns and books, in-store only at Urban Yarns Edgemont Village. Since most yarns were already 25% to 40% off (and still are online), they will now be 35% to 50% off to those of you who make the pilgrimage in person! AND we have added a 10% buy-the-bag discount if you purchase an entire unopened factory bag of one colour (usually 10 balls), also in-store only. Discounts may be combined!
