New Yarns for Summer!

Swans Island
This is the big one that we are all excited about. It has been a long process, but Swans Island is here!

We now have Swans Island fingering, worsted, lace, and ecowash organic sport. The lace is a 50/50 wool/tussah silk blend, while the other lines are all 100% merino. The base yarn is soft and buttery, and the colours are vibrant and delicate.

Some fun patterns to really show off the yarn are Sleeping Cedars, Bienvenue Pullover, and Katherine Pullover (also all available in store).

Juniper Moon Zooey
Juniper Moon is one of our newer brands, but they have given us some top-notch yarns in the short time we've stocked them. Perfect for summer is Zooey, a sport weight 60/40 cotton/linen blend. Nothing says summer like linen, and the natural palette of Zooey will ensure a timeless project.

Shibui Cima
Shibui is one of our favourite go-to companies. Lovely yarn, fantastic colours, and always predictable. They of course have it out of park with Cima, a fingering weight, 70/30 alpaca/wool blend. While the alpaca does add warmth, the fine gauge certainly keeps this in the running for a summer yarn (or just start knitting for fall!)

It's not too late to pick up a gift for Mother's Day! If none of the new items above strike your fancy, here are a few more recommendations.

out of style. Available in store or over the phone.

Interchangeable Needles
Is your favourite knitter always running out to buy another set of needles? Maybe they need a set of interchangeable needles, so they always have the perfect pair to hand!
