As you may have heard, Winter is Coming. That means it's time to start planning ahead (if you haven't already), and dig into the heavier, warmer yarns.

Always classic, Alafosslopi and Lettlopi are two of the hardest working yarns out there. Fun fact: Viking settlers brought domestic sheep to Iceland in AD 874!

We recently brought in a number of new yarns from SMC: Bravo Big, Bravo Big Colour, and Lumio. Well it turns out that they have been releasing loads of free patterns to accompany the yarns - what's not to like?

And finally, it's never too early to start thinking about gifts... My personal recommendation? Get some beginner classes for friends and family, and spread the love of yarn! We've got some fantastically talented teachers who are always ready for a challenge.
